References to "Talcura," "we," "us," or "our" in this Privacy Policy refer to Talcura Technologies Inc. and the Talcura platform.
This Privacy Policy governs the collection, use, and disclosure of personal information when you use the Talcura website (talcura.com), platform, or any related services. By using Talcura, you agree to the practices described here.
2. Information We Collect
Information you provide directly
- Account information: name, work email address, job title, company name, phone number when you register or request a demo
- Billing information: credit card details, billing address (processed by our payment processor โ we do not store raw card numbers)
- Platform data: job postings, candidate records, application materials, interview notes, and onboarding documents you create or upload within Talcura
- Communications: messages you send to our support team or via in-platform messaging
Information collected automatically
- Usage data: pages visited, features used, time spent, clickstreams, and session data
- Device and browser information: IP address, browser type and version, operating system, device identifiers
- Cookies and similar technologies: as described in Section 6 below
Information from third parties
- Candidate information imported from integrated job boards (Indeed, LinkedIn, ZipRecruiter, etc.) when you connect those services
- Single sign-on identity data if you log in through a third-party identity provider

Service providers

When you connect Talcura to third-party services (Indeed, LinkedIn, ADP, Workday, etc.), data is shared with those services according to your instructions and their own privacy policies.

We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or government authority, or if we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Talcura Technologies, our users, or the public.
Business transfers

We will never sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their own marketing purposes.
5. Data Storage & Canadian Residency
๐ All Talcura data is stored on Microsoft Azure servers located in Canada. Your data never leaves Canadian jurisdiction as part of our standard operations. This satisfies the data residency requirements of PIPEDA and Canadian government-funded organisations.
We implement administrative, technical, and physical security measures to protect your personal information against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These measures include TLS 1.3 encryption in transit, AES-256 encryption at rest, role-based access controls, and regular security audits.
6. Cookies & Tracking
Talcura uses cookies and similar technologies to operate the platform, remember your preferences, and understand how the service is used. Types of cookies we use:
- Essential cookies: Required for the platform to function. Cannot be disabled.
- Analytics cookies: Help us understand usage patterns and improve the product (e.g., anonymised session analytics).
- Preference cookies: Remember your settings and preferences between sessions.
You can control non-essential cookies through your browser settings or our cookie consent banner. Note that disabling cookies may affect the functionality of certain features.
7. Data Retention

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, or legal requirements.
